Super 8 wedding films

A short film of the day, shot on Kodak Super 8, with the still frames to go with it.

I have been a working cinematographer since 2012, mostly on tours and documentaries. A few weekends a year I shoot a wedding on Super 8. I treat it like a documentary and follow the day as it happens, and every so often you hear the quiet, unmistakable sound of film rolling on something you are going to want to remember.

You get a short film cut to music you love, the full scans, and still frames pulled from the negative.

Born in Los Angeles, raised in Massachusetts, and shooting in LA since 2012.

I have spent most of the last decade on tour buses and in arenas, shooting the people whose posters were on your wall. I also co-run ACQ, a production company for brands that need a full crew without building one.

Weddings are some of my favorite days to shoot.
